Next Meeting - Meet & Greet Nov. 20
Lots of cars, lots of people, beautiful day, great food and lots of activities and everyone having fun! We had 236 registered vehicles (but are sure there were quite a few more) and the cars get better every year. We had a live band and a really good breakfast and lunch provided by local organizations. And a farmers market. And a bouncy castle for the kids. And thanks to all the volunteers that made this possible. The '59 Chev Apache prize truck was won by Duane and Diane Lockie from Calgary and they loved it. And the other prize packages were all very well received. Seems to get better every year and we are looking forward to next years show. See Nice Old Cars for lots of car photos - https://niceoldcars.ca/cremona-sep-7-2024-174-photos/ and My Star
The Chamber has donated proceeds from the Show and Shine to a number of community groups. Thanks to all of the volunteers that assist in these endeavours!

Westbrook Play School Assoc. (located at Water Valley) $500
Cremona Legion for Musket Display Structure $1000
Cremona Country Fellowship Church - "The Attic" $900
Cremona Community Engagement Site - for Programs for local seniors $500
Mountainview Food Bank $3000 received at registration
Our very successful Show and Shine enables these donations. Thanks again to all the volunteers that helped make this possible.
Cremona's 12th annual Show and Shine is a go on Saturday, September 7th from 9:00 AM till 3:00. Last years Show and Shine was a big success and we hope to be even more successful this year. A great day for the whole family. Our prize car is a legendary 1959 Chevrolet Apache with a 283 V8 Engine and manual 4 speed transmission. Runs great! Original color was cyan like the poster - now primed for a new paint job.
Bring your favorite vehicle and your family and friends - its a great way to spend a Saturday in September. We also have a 50/50 and other prize draws, a kids bouncy castle, a soap box derby, farmers market, auto parts swap meet, vendors, pancake breakfast, BBQ lunch and lots of other food.
Vendor tables are $30 and the market is located where the Farmers Market is every Sunday in an outdoor venue. Auto related sales are of course popular but the typical attendance is around 400 people that includes much of the local population so there are many opportunities for sales and exposure. Payment can be made by e-xfr to the e-mail below or bring cash or check to the event.
